H A S Morshed is a Senior Consultant at OGR Legal, based in our Dhaka office, with extensive experience spanning both legal practice and corporate operations in Bangladesh. Prior to joining the legal profession, he held senior leadership roles in the fintech and ready-made garments (RMG) sectors, equipping him with a unique blend of operational and legal expertise.
Morshed specializes in employment law, labour compliance, and corporate advisory. He regularly assists clients with HR policy development, labour audits, regulatory compliance, and commercial transactions. His multidisciplinary background enables him to deliver strategic, practical solutions to complex business challenges, particularly for clients navigating Bangladesh’s dynamic regulatory environment.
He has advised a diverse range of clients, including multinational corporations, leading manufacturers, and technology companies. Morshed’s experience includes supporting major foreign investors with labour and employment compliance, assisting with HR manual preparation, and advising on commercial matters for global brands in the RMG and technology sectors.
Morshed holds a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) from the National University of Bangladesh, a Master of Laws (LL.M.) from Dhaka International University, and both BBA and MBA degrees from the University of Chittagong. He is an ISO 9001:2015 Certified Lead Auditor (QMS) and holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Project Management (PGDPM).
He is fluent in English and Bengali.
