Osman Goni is a Partner at OGR Legal, based in our Dhaka office, with over a decade of experience practicing law in Bangladesh. He is an advocate of the Supreme Court of Bangladesh and brings significant expertise in corporate and commercial matters, mergers and acquisitions, project finance, banking and finance, and arbitration.
Osman specializes in advising clients on legal and regulatory compliance, investment structuring, company incorporation, corporate transactions, dispute resolution, employment, and labour matters. He has a strong track record of guiding both foreign and domestic clients through complex transactions and regulatory challenges, with particular experience in cross-border investments, energy projects, and infrastructure development.
His clients include multinational corporations, leading manufacturers, financial institutions, and international contractors. Osman has advised on landmark projects in the energy, technology, and consumer sectors, including solar power plant development, market entry for global brands, and public-private partnerships. He regularly represents state-owned enterprises and international investors before the Bangladeshi courts and regulatory authorities.
Osman holds a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) and a Master of Laws (LL.M.) from the University of Chittagong. He is a member of the Bangladesh Supreme Court Bar Association and the Chattogram Bar Association.
